Prune Lekvar is a Hungarian style prune filling of almost jam like consistency. Use as a filling for Danish, coffee cakes and stollen to create popular ethnic specialties. Prune Lekvar is thick and intensely flavored.  Our natural prune puree is made by cooking select California prunes with sugar to make a smooth, thick and spreadable fruit butter used to fill Danish pastries, cookies and sweet yeast breads.
