Description


The Maintenance Manager oversees all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of an organization's facilities. The Maintenance Manager ensures their team members have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to the allotted budget.

The annual salary is from $85k to $92k based on experience.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Allocate workload and supervise upkeep of maintenance team members and maintenance clerk.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Monitor electrical and hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure their functionality.
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
  • Ensure that designated buildings, plants, and facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support/solutions when required.
  • Responsible for follow-up on preventative maintenance and PMs.
  • Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
  • Plan and execute projects in cooperation with the plant or production manager.
  • Support operations by maintaining equipment and resolving mechanical issues in a timely manner, thereby increasing productivity, and improving equipment efficiencies and product output.
  • Develop and implement a robust and thorough preventative maintenance program to help ensure uptime in a proactive environment.

Perform all other duties as assigned by Division Plant.

Qualification


Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience in a maintenance management role
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
  • Experience in planning maintenance operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members.
  • Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning, and decision-making. A degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
