Pre Heat Oven to 350 degrees
Grease an 11 x 16-inch pan.
Beat the dough ingredients together in a large mixer bowl until a soft dough is formed.
Divide the dough into 2 equal parts.
On a floured board, roll out the 1st piece of dough to fit the pan size, and place it in the pan.
Add the filling.
Pour ¾ of the matza meal over the dough in the pan.
Spread the apples onto the dough in the pan.
Combine the sugar and cinnamon and spread over the apples.
Add the rest of the Matza Meal on top of the apples.
Finish and bake
Roll out the 2nd piece of dough and place it on top of everything.
Bake the cake for 1 ½ hours.
USE: 11 X 16-inch cake pan - YIELDS: 20 Squares
Bake for 1½. hours. when cool, cut into 3-inch squares with a sharp knife.
