Our oat products are manufactured from pre-selected, sound oats grown in the Western Canadian Prairie provinces.

Raw Material: Our oat products are manufactured from pre-selected, clean sound oats from the northern regions of North America and Scandinavia. The oats are carefully sized and dehulled with the objective of producing the highest number of whole oat groats. Frequently Asked Questions

What is oat flour made from?
Oat flour is made by finely grinding kilned oat groats while keeping the bran layer intact. This process preserves the grain’s natural nutrients and flavor, making it a wholesome whole grain flour option.
What are the main uses of oat flour?
It’s highly versatile and can be used in breads, muffins, crackers, cookies, and desserts. Beyond baking, it serves as a thickener for soups, gravies, and sauces or as a stabilizer in ice creams and dairy based products.
Is oat flour gluten-free?
No. While it’s naturally free of wheat, this oat flour is not certified gluten-free and may contain traces of gluten due to cross contact during production.
What are the nutritional benefits of oat flour?
Oat flour is rich in fiber, protein, and essential minerals. It contributes to heart health, aids digestion, and adds a mild, nutty flavor to baked goods and beverages.
How should I store oat flour for best freshness?
Store in a cool, dry place below 75°F and under 75% relative humidity. It keeps fresh for six months under normal conditions and up to twelve months when stored in low humidity and cooler environments.
