White Linen-Like Guest Towels are the classic choice for a restroom, buffet, or counter where a plain paper towel would look out of place. Each 12 x 17 inch towel is thick, soft, and absorbent, with the clean white finish that suits hotels, restaurants, and event spaces, and a case holds 500 of them ready to set out. Baker's Authority stocks them by the case and offers them in bulk and wholesale quantities for bakeries, cafes, caterers, and hospitality operations.

    What It Is

This is a white disposable guest towel that opens to 12 x 17 inches and comes folded in a case of 500. It is made from the heavier, cloth-feel paper known as linen-like, which drapes and absorbs the way a fabric towel does while remaining single-use. White is the standard color for this category because it matches any restroom or table setting and reads as clean and neutral to guests.

    Look and Feel

The towel has a smooth, bright white surface with a soft hand and enough body to stay intact when wet. Folded, the towels stack cleanly in a holder, tray, or basket; opened, one towel dries a pair of hands or covers a lap as a dinner napkin. Against a dark counter or a white tablecloth the towels look like folded linen, which is the effect most operators are after.

    Uses

A white guest towel in this size serves across the front and back of the house:

    • Restroom hand towels in hotels, restaurants, cafes, salons, and offices
    • Dinner and buffet napkins for weddings, banquets, and catered events
    • Counter and sample napkins in bakeries, delis, and specialty food shops
    • Napkins for coffee bars, pastry cases, and grab-and-go
    • Liners for bread baskets, pastry trays, and display boxes
    • Table settings for holidays, showers, and private parties

White pairs with any printed napkin, ribbon, or box color a bakery already uses, so one case covers restroom, counter, and packaging needs without clashing with the rest of the presentation.

    Storage and Handling

Store in a dry place away from moisture, grease, and direct sunlight so the towels stay white and flat. Keep unopened packs sealed until they go into service.

    Bulk and Wholesale Options

Sold by the case of 500 CT. Bulk and wholesale quantities are available for high-volume operations, and the 500-count case supplies a busy restroom, catering program, or bakery counter for an extended stretch.

    FAQ

How are guest towels folded for a restroom display?
Guest towels for a restroom display are usually presented in their factory fold, stacked with the clean folded edge facing the guest in a holder, tray, or basket. For a more decorative look, towels can be refolded into a simple pocket or fan, or stood on end in a round basket so each one is easy to pull. Keeping the stack modest and refilling often looks neater than an overfilled holder.
Why are white guest towels the usual choice for restrooms?
White guest towels are the usual choice for restrooms because white reads as clean and hygienic, matches any fixture or counter color, and makes a used towel easy to spot and clear away. White also pairs with any printed or colored napkin a business uses elsewhere, so the restroom does not need its own color scheme.
Can guest towels be used in a bakery or restaurant kitchen?
Guest towels can be used in a bakery or restaurant kitchen for drying hands at a hand sink, wiping a counter edge, or lining a bread basket, since the thick linen-like paper absorbs well and does not shred. They are not a replacement for food-safe task wipers on prep surfaces, but they are a tidy option at the front counter and the hand-washing station.
What is the difference between a guest towel and a dinner napkin?
A guest towel and a dinner napkin in the linen-like category are often the same paper in different folds and sizes: a guest towel is folded narrow to fit a restroom holder and a dinner napkin is folded square for the table. A 12 x 17 inch guest towel opens to a comfortable napkin size, which is why many caterers use one product for both the restroom and the buffet.
How are linen-like guest towels disposed of?
Linen-like guest towels are disposed of in a regular waste basket rather than flushed, since the thick fiber does not break down in plumbing. Where a commercial composting program accepts paper products, used towels can usually go in that stream; local facilities set the rules. Keeping a lined basket next to the sink keeps the restroom orderly.
